How to care for your Thread of State Shorts

Our Thread of State swim trunks can withstand heavily chlorinated pools, salt water and other harsh environments, and since you'll be wearing your swim trunks at the pool, beach and on holidays, it's well worth learning how you should take care of them.

You dont freakin' worry about them! We use premium Italian dyes in our sublimation process that trumps all Chinese made swim shorts. We have tested our shorts through the harshest of environments. Pools, beaches, mud, jet-skiing, watersking.. You name it, we've tested it.

Now... While yes, they are high quality.. They are not indestructible. And our Lawyers told us to write this.. So. If you really want to care for your shorts, follow the steps below:

Step 1: When it's time to wash your Thread of State shorts, turn them inside out. This helps protect the design and graphic on the front.

Step 2: Use a gentle or delicate cycle on your washing machine, preferably with cold water. Avoid using bleach or harsh detergents, as they can fade or damage the colors and fabric.

Step 3: If you have any stains on your shorts, pre-treat them with a stain remover or a gentle detergent before washing.

Step 4: After the wash, hang your Thread of State shorts to dry. You can use a clothes dryer, but be careful of any shrinking or piling with other fabrics you place inside the dryer with your Thread of State shorts.

Step 5: If needed, iron your shorts on a low setting, making sure to avoid ironing directly on the graphics or design. Place a cloth or thin towel between the shorts and the iron to protect the fabric.

Step 6: Store your shorts in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight or heat sources. This helps maintain their quality and color.

Step 7: If you have any repairs or loose threads, take the time to fix them promptly. This will extend the lifespan of your Thread of State shorts.
